I’m still getting emails from people asking to be in my band.
But just now, one of my old bandmates from Höfn asked me if I wanted to play guitar/sing in a band that he’s forming. He’s moved to Reykjavík, and coincidentally moved in on the street right next to me.
I already have my own band……. but I kinda said yes.
Now he’s going to send me some demos and gonna make me write the lyrics.
When I was 15 years old I decided that I would end up in this business.
I stand by that decision.
wellllll this week has been good.. but today was one of the best days I’ve had in a while… I don’t know why..
My boss, Imma, has started trusting me with a lot of things. She gave me a key of the coffee shop and made me open the shop last Saturday, and then trusts me to count the shops daily income at the end of the day, and then sends me to the bank then next day with all the money to deposit it. On my way to the bank I walked through some streets I have never been to before and I had no idea where I was. I loved that feeling. It’s a feeling that you don’t get very often when you live in Iceland. I loved not knowing where I was, but eventually I got to the right place. Didn’t take long though…

Had one HELL of a blogilates workout today. geesh. I can barely stand, my feet are so tired.
Today at work we had a boy from Alaska, named David, come and join us for a day just to learn how we do things. He seems cool. I like him.

So I just got home from work/meeting.
I think I’ve never loved a job as much as I love this one. The people I work with are amazing. Gunnar is always wrecking something. It’s hilarious. I think Tryggvi doesn’t really know how to behave around me… he’s always like “god, you’re so awkward” and then he just smiles at me and says “It’s ok though… I like it.” I’m always like “nO STOP YOURE MAKING ME MORE AWKWARD”
Tryggvi is going away this summer, and Gunnar’s girlfriend is having a baby next month, so neither of them will be working with me this summer, but they’ll be back in the fall.. until then it’ll just be the girls (:
I had work from 2pm to 7pm, and then we had this work meeting/dinner, and we met three new girls who are gonna be working with us this summer. They’re all great.
Today before I went to work Þórður (Ívar’s cousin) came over to see Þórgunnur. He ships me and Ívar so hard. Probably more than me. It’s so funny.
He told me this morning he went on the facebook chat just to see who was online, and the only people who were online were me and Ívar “It was so funny! I am seriously thinking about messaging him and then adding you to the convo and then just leave, so it’ll be just the two of you.”
Me: “NO!”
haven’t been on here much lately cause the fam came to visit, but they’re gone now.. so I’m back

This has been the weirdest day.
woke up at 9am and it was snowing, and everything was covered in snow. So I walked to work wearing boots and a winter jacket.
Came home from work at 6pm and could’ve worn a t-shirt outside.
